OUR MISSION & VISION
The LifeGrowth Resources Vision can be expressed in seven words: "Partnering with You to Make a Difference". Our network is a mix of family, friends, business leaders, pastors, missionaries, former refugees, the highly employed and the formerly unemployed. We are of varied ethnic groups and nationalities. No one creed commands our allegiance. Yet we are linked by loyalty, a shared history, a common mission, and a passion to develop and share resources with those in need.
Our primary resources are "human resources". By partnering with other like-minded people we identify needs in our local communities, as well as in many nations of the world. We recruit and train teams to work with nationals to help bring healing and hope to the needy. We send teams to help train and equip national leaders. We are involved with relief and development work, with education, with vocational training, with children's camps, with refugees and a great variety of other needs and projects.
We continue to form new partnerships with those who are committed to help others in their communities. Organizations that serve the homeless, children, the elderly, the poor, disabled veterans and other vulnerable groups are of special interest to us. Although many of us have been doing this for years, we always feel like we are just beginning. It would be easy to be discouraged: the needs are so great. Yet many of us are encouraged by the words of Christ: "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." So we expect, with God's help, that our growing partnerships will result in the transformation of many lives and communities. Having put our hand to the plow (Luke 9:62), we are not looking back.
